Does PATCHBOX ship globally?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
When will my order be shipped?
Once you have received your order confirmation, your order will be processed and shipped within 2-3 working days.
Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays will be processed the next working day.
Once the package has been collected by our logistics partner, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link and your invoice.
How will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped either as a package or as a pallet. If your order is shipped as a package, we use the services of well-known logistics providers such as DHL, UPS or TNT. If your order is shipped on a pallet, we regularly use the service of carriers such as DB Schenker or Kühne + Nagel.
How are the shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs depend on the order value. You can determine the shipping costs in the table below.

What payment options do I have?
You can pay per PayPal, Credit Card, Bank Transfer and by Invoice if required (please read additional information on Bank Transfer and Invoice further down in this section).
Can I pay by invoice?
If you are required to pay by invoice please contact us on +43 1 99 71 960 between the hours of 9:00am till 5:00pm CET or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I pay via bank transfer?
Yes, simply proceed with the checkout process and select “Pre-payment via Wire Transfer” on the payment page.
You then will receive an email with a PDF quotation on basis of which you should transfer the money to our bank account. As soon as we receive your payment you will receive an order confirmation and we will start processing your order. Shipping details as well as the invoice will be provided via email once the order is shipped.
When will I receive my invoice?
A digital PDF invoice is emailed to the email address associated with your account once your order has been picked up by our delivery partners.
When do you open and close for business?

PATCHBOX Plus+ & PATCHBOX 365
What are the differences between the PATCHBOX Plus+ and the PATCHBOX 365?
The PATCHBOX Plus+ is designed for standard network cabinets and the PATCHBOX 365 for smaller cabinets yet both share the same fundamental benefits.
The PATCHBOX Plus+ has an extractable cable length of 1.7m which covers up to 26 RU. The PATCHBOX 365 has a cable length of 0.8m which covers up to 10 RU yet because of its smaller unit depth it does not require mounting rails.
How long are the cables?
PATCHBOX Plus+ has an extractable cable length of 1.7m which covers up to 26 RU.
For longer connections, which should cover more than 26 RU, Long Range cassettes are available. These can cover 48 RU and compared to the Patchbox Plus+, they have an over length of one metre which is not retractable (retractable 1.7m + not retractable 1m).
The PATCHBOX 365 designed for smaller cabinets has an extractable cable length of 0.8m which covers up to 10 RU.
Do PATCHBOX 365 Cassettes fit in the PATCHBOX Plus+?
Yes, you can use the PATCHBOX 365 Cassettes in the PATCHBOX Plus+. However the PATCHBOX Plus+ Cassettes should not be used with the PATCHBOX 365. The PATCHBOX 365 is designed for smaller cabinets and does not require mounting rails and therefore can not guarantee stability using the longer PATCHBOX Plus+ Cassettes.
How often can I extract the cables? How many pulling cycles can I expect?
Both the PATCHBOX Plus+ and PATCHBOX 365 have tested 300+ pulling cycles without any compromises in performance.
Is the PATCHBOX PoE compatible?
Yes, both the PATCHBOX Plus+ and PATCHBOX 365 are PoE compatible. We recommend a maximum of 15.4W which is standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af).
How does the bending affect the fiber optic cables?
We only use bend insensitive fiber optic cables which have bending radiuses of up to 9mm.
What is the bandwidth of the patch cords?
Our Cat. 6 UTP and Cat. 6 STP patch cords used in the PATCHBOX Plus+ and PATCHBOX 365 are tested to ISO 11801 Class E standards (Cat.6) and provide a data rate of 1GBit/s.
Is the PATCHBOX covered by a manufacturer warranty?
Yes, we offer a 5 year manufacturer warranty on the PATCHBOX Plus+ and PATCHBOX 365.
What type of racks / rails is the Setup.exe compatible with?
The Setup.exe fits all 19" rails with square punched holes. The Setup.exe can also be configured to fit 19" rails with different rail thicknesses. The Setup.exe is not compatible with 19" rails with threaded holes.
How much weight can the Setup.exe carry?
The recommended maximum load-bearing capacity is 15kg.
The load-bearing capacity is limited to the maximum weight per rack unit (RU) of the network rack. Please refer to the rack manufacturer for the maximum weight per rack unit (RU).
The Setup.exe is not sitting tight or too loose on the 19” rail.
Please adjust the brackets by loosening the nuts on the side using a wrench and adjust them to the thickness of your 19” rails.
Is the Setup.exe covered by a manufacturer warranty?
Yes, we offer a life-time manufacturer warranty on the Setup.exe.
